Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contadinella by Telemaco Signorini was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Telemaco Signorini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa. in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 160,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contadinella von Telemaco Signorini kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Telemaco Signorini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa. im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 160.100,00.
