Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hollywood Portraits: Michael Caine & Bob Hoskins And Mickey Rourke, 1980'S by Terry O'Neill was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 725.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry O'Neill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brigitte Bardot, Spain in May this year with an auction result of GBP 48,260.00 (€ 56,150.83).

Die Arbeit Hollywood Portraits: Michael Caine & Bob Hoskins And Mickey Rourke, 1980'S von Terry O'Neill kam im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 725,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry O'Neill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Spain im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.260,00 (€ 56.150,83).
