Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Greek athens by Thalia Flora-Karavia for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,576.27). This price was achieved in the auction The Greek Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thalia Flora-Karavia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'artiste dans son studio, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 27,812.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Greek athens von Thalia Flora-Karavia für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.576,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thalia Flora-Karavia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'artiste dans son studio beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 27.812,50 versteigert wurde.
