Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,876.80). Admittedly, works by Apollonio Domenichini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 265,833.98).
