Auction result well in line with expectations

The work An earthenware jug, manuscripts, books, a teapot, a skull and other objects on a draped table by The Pseudo-Roestraten was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,713.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by The Pseudo-Roestraten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Of Books, Musical Instruments And Other Objects On A Table Draped With An Oriental Carpet in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 63,069.63).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.713,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
