Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Watching the Show by Therese Lessore was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,176.00 (€ 2,521.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Therese Lessore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Orchestra, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Watching the Show von Therese Lessore wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.176,00 (€ 2.521,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Für andere Arbeiten von Therese Lessore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Orchestra beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.859,51) versteigert wurde.
