Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Médusée - 2010 by Thom Thom for EUR 656.00. This price was achieved in the auction Roméo Sarfati Collection at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thom Thom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marion Statoil, 2010 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,060.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Médusée - 2010 von Thom Thom für EUR 656,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Roméo Sarfati Collection bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thom Thom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marion Statoil, 2010 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.060,00.
