This artwork by Thomas Faed achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in August 2004. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A Highland Lassie sold for GBP 3,824.00 (€ 5,659.57) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Faed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Worn Out in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 259,650.00 (€ 379,080.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Faed erzielte im August 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit A Highland Lassie für GBP 3.824,00 (€ 5.659,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Faed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Worn Out im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 259.650,00 (€ 379.080,81).
