Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 881.25 (€ 1,379.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas Kent Pelham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Flower Girl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,340.66).

Die Arbeit A Chat by the Way von Thomas Kent Pelham kam im November 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 881,25 (€ 1.379,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
