In the The Marine Sale auction, the work Studies of the cutter yacht Cygnet, one showing her beating Vision at the Southampton Regatta in 1848; the other with Cygnet winning the Queen's Cup at Cowes in 1849, a pair each 54 x 76.8cm (21 1/4 x 30 1/4in). (2) sold for GBP 49,440.00 (€ 57,597.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00.
