This artwork by Tom Dixon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in December 2013. In the The Betty Lee and Aaron Stern Collection auction, the work "Bull Kitchen" chair sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,350.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tom Dixon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cu29 Chair sold at auction in September 2017 with the realized price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,581.56).
