Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Contemplación compartida en la laguna by Tomás Sánchez was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 93,750.00 (€ 79,624.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomás Sánchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Llegada del caminante a la laguna in March last year with an auction result of USD 1,800,000.00 (€ 1,622,644.91).

Die Arbeit Contemplación compartida en la laguna von Tomás Sánchez kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 93.750,00 (€ 79.624,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomás Sánchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Llegada del caminante a la laguna im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.800.000,00 (€ 1.622.644,91).
