Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Central, Hong Kong by Tsang Tsou Choi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2020. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,723.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsang Tsou Choi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 174,606.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Central, Hong Kong von Tsang Tsou Choi kam im August 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.723,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsang Tsou Choi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 174.606,44).
