Each a woodblock print, from the series Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners (Fuzoku sanjuniso), signed Yoshitoshi, published by Tsunashima Kamekichi in 1888, and comprising:
- Looking Inquistive: Habits of an okosho of the Tempo era (Mitaso, Tempo nenkan okosho no fuzoku)
- Looking Weighed-down: Habits of a waitress in the licensed quarters at Fukagawa in the Tempo era (Omotaso, Tempo nenkan Fukagawa karuko no fuzoku)
- Looking Adorable: Habits of a housewife of the tenth year of the Meiji era (Kawayurashiso, Meiji junen irai naishitsu no fuzoku)

The work Three woodblock prints from the series Thirty-two Aspects of by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi was sold in the Japanese Woodblock Prints | Including the Sokolov Collection auction at Sothebys in London in May 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 2,268.00 (€ 2,638.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tsuki junidai (Twelve aspects of the moon) in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 169,491.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Three woodblock prints from the series Thirty-two Aspects of von Tsukioka Yoshitoshi wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Japanese Woodblock Prints | Including the Sokolov Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.268,00 (€ 2.638,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tsukioka Yoshitoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tsuki junidai (Twelve aspects of the moon) im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 169.491,53).
