Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Passo d'Adda by Umberto Dell'Orto was worth EUR 8,000.00 to a buyer in June last year. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Umberto Dell'Orto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alla Fiera Di Gravedona, which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 23,550.00.

Die Arbeit Passo d'Adda von Umberto Dell'Orto war einem Käufer im Juni letzten Jahres EUR 8.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Umberto Dell'Orto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alla Fiera Di Gravedona beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für EUR 23.550,00 versteigert wurde.
