It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,924.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mitsukuni Defying The Skeleton Spectre Conjured Up By Princess Takiyasha (Souma No Furudairi Yokai Ga Shadokuro To Tatakau Oya Notarou Mitsukuni) in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,848.90).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.924,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Kuniyoshi erzielen.
