Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem by Ariwara no Narihira no ason by Utagawa Kuniyoshi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,764.00 (€ 2,052.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Utagawa Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mitsukuni Defying The Skeleton Spectre Conjured Up By Princess Takiyasha (Souma No Furudairi Yokai Ga Shadokuro To Tatakau Oya Notarou Mitsukuni) in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,848.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem by Ariwara no Narihira no ason von Utagawa Kuniyoshi kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.764,00 (€ 2.052,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Kuniyoshi erzielen.
