In February 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Russian Art, which included the work A-4 by Vadim Zakharov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,579.14), 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vadim Zakharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baroque, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,071.77).

Im Februar 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A-4 von Vadim Zakharov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.579,14) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vadim Zakharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baroque beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 61.250,00 (€ 78.071,77) versteigert wurde.
