Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Greek fishing Boats By Moonlight by Vasilios Chatzis for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,962.49). This price was achieved in the auction The Greek Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vasilios Chatzis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek the Crusader Invasion Of Constantinople in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 70,039.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
