The work Landscape by Vasily Shukhaev was sold in the Russian Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 87,650.00 (€ 102,854.34), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Shukhaev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Madame Pavlova in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 916,000.00 (€ 1,359,297.93).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Vasily Shukhaev wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 87.650,00 (€ 102.854,34) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Shukhaev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Madame Pavlova im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 916.000,00 (€ 1.359.297,93).
