Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Nude by Vasily Sitnikov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 756.00 (€ 839.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Sitnikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 157,390.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Vasily Sitnikov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 756,00 (€ 839,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Sitnikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 157.390,84).
