Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint George/ St. George by Vasily Sitnikov was sold in the Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections auction at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 6,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasily Sitnikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 157,390.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saint George/ St. George von Vasily Sitnikov wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasily Sitnikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 157.390,84).
