This artwork by Vera Rockline achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists auction, the work Young woman with a red fan sold for GBP 42,750.00 (€ 50,220.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Rockline achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Card Players in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,057,250.00 (€ 2,600,432.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vera Rockline erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists wurde die Arbeit Young woman with a red fan für GBP 42.750,00 (€ 50.220,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Rockline erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Card Players im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.057.250,00 (€ 2.600.432,98).
