Admittedly, works by Victor Ekpuk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Children of the Full Moon in October last year with an auction result of GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,280.41).

Die Arbeit Singing girl 1996 von Victor Ekpuk kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.734,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 62%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Ekpuk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Children of the Full Moon im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.125,00 (€ 22.280,41).
