It achieved a price of USD 90,000.00 (€ 80,099.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Manuel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Carnaval (Escena de comparsa), which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 319,500.00 (€ 302,041.97).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 80.099,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Manuel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Carnaval (Escena de comparsa) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 319.500,00 (€ 302.041,97) versteigert wurde.
