Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Victor Vasarely was sold in the A Clear Form auction at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. The price achieved of DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Victor Vasarely wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion A Clear Form bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
