The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,969.91), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Virgilio Ripari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Wally in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,078.57).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.969,91) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Virgilio Ripari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Wally im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.078,57).
