Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Learning Sessions II by Vito Acconci for GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,532.07). This price was achieved in the auction The Hoarder: Part III at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vito Acconci - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thirty-Five Approaches, which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 78,125.00 (€ 62,811.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Learning Sessions II von Vito Acconci für GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.532,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Hoarder: Part III bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vito Acconci mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Thirty-Five Approaches beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 78.125,00 (€ 62.811,55) versteigert wurde.
