This artwork by Amadeo Preziosi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June this year. In the Travel & Exploration Sale auction, the work Turkish women on an outing in an araba sold for GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,767.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amadeo Preziosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 228,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Amadeo Preziosi erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Travel & Exploration Sale wurde die Arbeit Turkish women on an outing in an araba für GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.767,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amadeo Preziosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 228.250,00.
