Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 532,413.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,729,250.00 (€ 3,449,863.51).
