Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Park by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,126.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,729,250.00 (€ 3,449,863.51).
