Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Church by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné was sold in the Russian Art Evening auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 157,250.00 (€ 190,127.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,729,250.00 (€ 3,449,863.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Church von Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art Evening bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 157.250,00 (€ 190.127,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Davidovich Baranov-Rossiné erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Rhythm (Adam and Eve) im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.729.250,00 (€ 3.449.863,51).
