The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Walter Heath Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the Glas Lyn in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 19,120.00 (€ 15,000.78).
