Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wan Shanglin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,695.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Wan Shanglin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Various Objects was auctioned for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,663.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.695,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wan Shanglin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Various Objects für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.663,38) versteigert.
