Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wang Fang could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Works of Art Online auction, the work Ink Landscape changed hands for USD 280.50 (€ 248.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Wang Jian in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,624.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Fang konnte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Works of Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Ink Landscape für USD 280,50 (€ 248,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Jian im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.624,19).
