Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Immortal Gathering, 1868 by Wang Jie for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,787.72). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Asian Works of Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Endless Day in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 64,587.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Immortal Gathering, 1868 von Wang Jie für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.787,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Endless Day im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 64.587,51).
