A top price for Wang Mingming
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work The Story Of Lanting by Wang Mingming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 10,902,500.00 (€ 1,199,948.92), 36% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Story Of Lanting is even the most expensive work of art by Wang Mingming that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Story Of Lanting von Wang Mingming zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 10.902.500,00 (€ 1.199.948,92) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Story Of Lanting sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Mingming, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
