Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Orchids by Wang Naizhuang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,260.89). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Naizhuang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Water Village, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,438.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchids von Wang Naizhuang wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.260,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Naizhuang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Water Village beobachtet, die im September 2019 für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.438,79) versteigert wurde.
