Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Big Orange Stimulator by Wesley Kimler for USD 280.50 (€ 236.43). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Wesley Kimler have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2021 by the work Fallen Balloon at USD 286.88 (€ 241.81).
