Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Corporate Entity by Wessel Couzijn was sold in the 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2004. The price achieved of EUR 2,629.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wessel Couzijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Afrika Ontwaakt - Rising Africa in July 2009 with an auction result of EUR 51,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Corporate Entity von Wessel Couzijn wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.629,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wessel Couzijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Afrika Ontwaakt - Rising Africa im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.150,00.
