In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work In The Meadows sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,916.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Maris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Herdboy With Donkeys On Scheveningen Beach in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit In The Meadows für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.916,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Maris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Herdboy With Donkeys On Scheveningen Beach im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
