Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 420.00 (€ 622.47). Admittedly, works by William B. Hough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pears and plums on a mossy bank in September 2003 with an auction result of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 2,958.86).
