Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Driving down the lane by William Bradley Lamond was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,214.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by William Bradley Lamond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Firin' bannocks in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 8,170.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Driving down the lane von William Bradley Lamond wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.214,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
