Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Path through the Woods by William Clapp was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,619.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by William Clapp have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August last year the work The Barn was auctioned for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,700.45).
