The work 'Georgia O'Keeffe And Juan Hamilton, Abiquiu, New Mexico' by William Clift was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,946.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Clift - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Portrait, Georgia O'Keeffe', which sold at auction in March 2020 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,800.25).
