Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Pictures, which included the work Still life of a dead partridge and other birds, and implements of the chase on a draped stone ledge by William Gouw Ferguson. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,385.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Gouw Ferguson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Falconry Still Life With A Dead Partridge, Songbirds, And Hunting Attributes Hanging On A Rope in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 29,550.00.

Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life of a dead partridge and other birds, and implements of the chase on a draped stone ledge von William Gouw Ferguson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.385,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
