Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William John Huggins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Opium Ships At Lintin, China, 1824, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 41,949.92).
