This work of art by William Sweetlove could be acquired at Artcurial in Paris in April 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Italian Art auction, the work Two Cloned Green Giraffes, 2006 changed hands for EUR 2,726.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by William Sweetlove have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2019 by the work Cloned Bulldog with pet bottle (coral) at GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,301.39).

In der Auktion 20th Century Italian Art wechselte die Arbeit Two Cloned Green Giraffes, 2006 für EUR 2.726,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von William Sweetlove wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2019 die Arbeit Cloned Bulldog with pet bottle (coral) mit GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.301,39).
