Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Adelboden, Switzerland by Willy Trapp was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 857.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Willy Trapp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adelboden in January 2016 with an auction result of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,255.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Adelboden, Switzerland von Willy Trapp kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 857,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willy Trapp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adelboden im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.255,72).
