Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bamboo And Rock by Wu Changshuo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 56,067.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Changshuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 28,750,000.00 (€ 3,322,968.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock von Wu Changshuo wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 56.067,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Changshuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.750.000,00 (€ 3.322.968,12).
